The Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA)
As the UK’s leading association for asbestos removal contractors, ARCA helps steer the industry and is recognised as driving excellence throughout the industry.

ARCA Site Audit Accreditation Scheme
ARCA members require three satisfactory unannounced site audits every year to maintain membership of the Association.
These site audits are unannounced, meaning a member has ‘no prior notice’ of an auditor’s visit, so provide reassurance for all parties.

ARCA Gold Site Training Award
EAS has received the ARCA Gold Training Award.
To gain this award over eight supervisors and/or operatives must have attended ARCA training within a 12 month period and achieved an average score of 92.5% or above across all delegates.

ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is one of the most widely adopted International Standards that specifies the requirements for a quality management system. It is used to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is one of the most widely adopted International Standards that specifies the requirements for an environmental management system. It is used to improve environmental performance through use of resources and reduction of waste.

ISO 45001
ISO 45001 is one of the most widely adopted International Standards that specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. It is used to protect employees and visitors from work related accidents and diseases.

British Safety Council (BSC)
BSC is the largest health and safety membership organisation that is dedicated to making sure no-one is injured or made ill through their work.
Their role is to help achieve the very highest Health and Safety standards required by law, to protect the bottom line and all staff.

The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)
CHAS is an authority and trusted advisor on health and safety compliance, responsible for setting industry benchmarks and providing the new Common Assessment Standards.
It is a pre-approval scheme, which allows contractors to demonstrate to potential clients that they meet the required health and safety standards.
