Impact House

Project:

Impact House, 2 Edridge Road, Croydon

Value:

£82,500

Duration:

3 Months

About the Project:

EAS were asked to remove approximately 12,000m2 of bitumen adhesive and self-levelling compound across 12 Floors of Impact House.

Planning was a key element with regards to carrying out this project successfully as we were following on from the strip out company. This meant we would be sharing the lift when we needed to carry out our waste runs to the ground floor.

To alleviate any uncertainty air monitoring was carried out at various intervals and on completion of each and every waste run. This provided peace of mind to other contractors on site.

Utilising our dustless floor grinding equipment, we organised for a 3 phase power supply to be installed on each floor to power the plant, this ensured we were able to segregate ourselves from the other trades and work independently without affecting the power supply to the rest of the building.

This became a logistically challenging project, however it was carried out on time with no holdups and to the client’s programme.
